Establishing my Faith

There are some who have problems believing God will answer when they pray.

First,
we need to establish whether what we are asking is within His will.

1 John 5 says this:
13 I have written this to you who believe in the Son of God so that you may know you have eternal life.
14 And we are sure of this, that he will listen to us whenever we ask him for anything in line with his will.
15 And if we really know he is listening when we talk to him and make our requests, then we can be sure that he will answer us.

Secondly,
we need to establish our faith on the Word of God alone, since there is no other basis of knowing what God says He will or will not do.
The more we fill ourselves with the Word of God, the easier it will be to believe that God will do what He promises in answer to our prayer.
